In Japan, Yutori (ゆとり) means more than just space or time - it means breathing room for the soul. March has been one of those months where I needed just that and began to reminisce memories of our trip to Japan last year! This guide is a handpicked map to places where time slows, senses awaken, and life softens. Whether it’s a quiet café hidden in a Tokyo back alley or a farm-to-table dining experience within the hills of Kyoto, these are some of the spaces that I feel offer yutori.
